Currently February

I am joining Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for her February Currently Linky Party.

This is the dog I adopted - "Dot" - from the Humane Society. She is a pure-bred Yorkie. So cute. Just waiting to see how long it takes Snowball, my current 1.5 yr. old Maltese, and Dot to truly get along.

These are some photos from my lass making Oobleck to learn about properties of matter. Kids loved it.

    Congrats on your new addition!!

    I loved "The One and Only Ivan." It won the Newberry Award very recently. Just finished "Wonder" today. A definite must-read for 5th grade in my opinion!

    Looks like they enjoyed the oobleck! Glad you are back. The Shiloh series is a class favorite. I like Old Yeller, Gilly Hopkins, Indian in the Cupboard, and any of Andrew Clements' books. Loved his No Talking. My kids tried to have their own no talking contest.
